I haven't seen bob in 12 or 13 years. I know him as being a very kind and giving person. He helped Jim and I out more than once. Anyone that knew him knew they could count on him if they ever needed anything. Be it money, a ride or just an ear. He was a very hard worker and loved his family dearly. He will be sorely missed. My heart goes out to his family and friends.

Though I didn't know Bob well, I do remember his willingness to help. He helped me to build the bedrooms for my two children, I will never forget how perfect the taping job, one coat and ready to paint! GOOD MAN!

Bob is looking down at all of us right now with amazement. He never considered himself popular; he never realized how many people’s hearts he touched. He just was being Bob. He was known by many names; Bob, Robert, Bobby, Lightning Bob, Boboli, Brother, Son, Dad, Grandpa. To me and as I am sure with many of you he was known as all of these but best known to as "My Best Friend". As the song Four Wooden Crosses by Randy Travis goes, "I guess it’s not what you take when you leave this world behind you but what you leave behind you when you go". Bob was giving. And you all may not know this but Bob gave you something more valuable than the money in your wallet stronger than the gold on your neck, ears or fingers, He gave you himself , his memory, his time and his unconditional love as a friend. You can’t cash that in all you can do is hold it close to your heart. Bob my Brother I love you and miss you. Rest in Peace my brother .

I'm deeply saddened to hear about the tragic loss of Uncle Bob. I was completly blown away when i got the news from my father. Though I didn't get to spend much time with him in recent years, he did leave me with some great memories. Uncle Bob was a great man who would've done anything for his friends and family and will always be in my heart as the greatest uncle of all times. He will never be forgotten.
