Carl or "Tex" as we called him, and Kathy always treated me like I was one of their own kids. I have many memories of them...very kind and generous people. May they both rest in peace. The only solace is that they are finally together. Our condolences to the Olandt family.

Carl was our accountant for well over 30 years.
He was the master of the adding machine when we still used them, back in the day!
I remember the first few times I went to him and watched him use the adding machine without looking at it just keeping his fingers on it made me nervous, but of course he was spot on all the time made our accounting business smooth and friendly. Rest in peace Carl.

I had the good fortune to work for and with Carl. My years at the Labor Department with him were my happiest and most productive of my career. Sometimes underestimated because he neither sounded or looked the part, Carl was the most capable and effective leader I ever knew. He was always evenhanded, upbeat, generous and loyal. My condolences to his family. He will be greatly missed. Jerry Fleming

Mr. Olandt was my basketball coach in junior high. I remember that he had me over for dinner and took me to a Harlem Globetrotters game with his family. I was a classmate of Rob's but knew the entire family. I will remember him as a generous person and mentor. He was also a great family man. I'm afraid I'll be out of state for the services but on behalf of my family please accept our condolences. God bless you all.
