Doris Winnie Sidella, 87, of Bristol, CT, passed away on February 1, 2025 in Orange, CT. Winnie was born in Bristol, CT to John and Lucy (Aziz) Sargis on January 12, 1938. She graduated from Bristol High School and married the love of her life Robert Butch Sidella on September 22, 1962 in Bristol. She worked as an administrative assistant for the Bristol Board of Education Athletic Department. Her happiest times were spent in retirement in Sunny Southwest Florida in the beautiful city of Naples with Butch. She was very involved in her high school class and enjoyed meeting her '56 Girls for gatherings. Winnie is preceded in death by her beloved husband Butch, parents John and Lucy, and siblings Sub, Sam, Liz, Helen, Jenny and Dorothy. Winnie is survived by devoted daughter Lisa M. Sidella and a pack of beagle grand-dogs, loving nieces and nephew Penny Dillon and Barbara & Darrell Dublin, and a long time estranged son. Services will be announced at a later date. The family of Winnie wishes to extend our sincere thanks to everyone at Orange Health Care.

I was the property manager at Winnie's FL home and had the pleasure of getting to know her well over the years. We shared many lunches, lots of stories and laughter. She was a wonderful lady.

To the Sidella family, we offer our condolences and prayers during this difficult time. Winnie, or "Mrs. Sidella" as we called her in high school, was always a ray of sunshine. Quick with a hug or an offer of food which we normally took her up on because she was a great cook. We'll miss her and the world will be a little darker without her in it. She truly enjoyed life making it sunnier for everyone around her. I'm a better person for knowing Winnie.
With deepest condolences, Mark and Amy Fedor (aka Bomber as Winnie called me).

Oh Lisa I´m so sorry to see that Winnie has gone to heaven. She was such a wonderful person, so funny, kind hearted and a just a little bit "ornery", but that´s what made her so great! Gosh I miss our lunches and the fun times we had! Hope you are doing okay! The picture of her is just gorgeous!!
