ANTHONY MATTIOLI Obituary

MATTIOLI - Anthony R. "Tony" Of Akron, NY. Age 87 entered into rest July 16, 2014. Beloved husband of Laura (nee Whiting) Mattioli of Akron, NY; loving father of Marcia Tordy of Akron, NY; cherished grandfather of Katie Tordy of Orlando, FL and Jennifer Tordy of Denver, CO; brother of the late Edward Mattioli and Joseph Mattioli; brother-in-law of Natalie Mattioli, Angeline Mattioli, Lauren Whiting and Dolores Whiting; also survived by several nieces and nephews. The family will be present Sunday, July 20 from 4 PM to 8 PM to receive friends in the BERNHARDT FUNERAL HOME, 130 Main St., Akron, NY. Friends are invited to join the family for the Mass of Christian Burial in St. Teresa's Roman Catholic Church, 5771 Buell St., Akron, NY on Monday, July 21, 2014 at 10 AM. (please assemble at church). Burial in St. Teresa's R.C. Cemetery. Tony served in the United States Navy during WWII and he retired from Whiting Door Manufacturing Co. of Akron, NY where he was Vice President of Sales.
