Barry BLAKESLEE Obituary

BLAKESLEE - Barry J.
Mr. Barry J. Blakeslee, 63, of Hamburg, NY, passed away on Saturday (July 9, 2022) at the home of his sister Kim (Paul) Steger, Randolph, NY (Town of Coldspring), while briefly under the care of Hospice. Barry was born February 3, 1959, in Buffalo, the son of the late Augustine and Agnes (nee Klispie) Blakeslee. He was a 1977 graduate of Hamburg High School. Known as Mr. Fix It, Barry was a man of many talents and at the time of his retirement in 2000, he had worked for Mandon Building Systems in Buffalo and for his brother-in-law, Paul Steger. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Mary Sheehan; parents, Gus and Agnes; and an infant son, Mark Blakeslee. He is survived by his loving sister and caregiver, Kim (Paul) Steger of Randolph; beloved brother-in-law of Patricia (Ronald) Hartman, Francis "Mike" (Joseph) Pieczonka, and Nelson (Annie) Sheehan; dear nephew-in-law to Bernard (late Pat) Sheehan; loving uncle to many nieces and nephews; also survived by several great-nieces, nephews, and cousins. As per Barry's wishes, there will be no visitation or formal services held at this time. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the VanRENSSELAER & SON FUNERAL HOME, 14 Church Street, Randolph, NY.
