Age 65, of Springville. He was born in Lackawanna, a son of the late Howard "Chick" and Priscilla "Lee" (Walker) Croakman. Chris loved being outside, whether that be to fish (especially ice fishing), or hunting, he was always trying to spend time in the outdoors. He also enjoyed watching hockey, football, and little league baseball, as well as spending time with his family. He was a loving husband to his wife, Tamara "Tammie" (Lathrop) Croakman, whom he married April 16, 1995. He is also survived by his son, Steven (Justin Steger) Collins of Madison, WI; siblings: Perry Croakman of FL, Becky Croakman of Springville, and Rachel (Gary Williams) Herbert of Springville; as well as his cherished grandson, Jacob, and several cherished nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his sister, Cami Wilson. Friends may call on August 26, 2025 from 12pm-3pm at the Smith-Weismantel Funeral Home, 271 E. Main St., Springville, NY, where a Memorial Service will follow at 3pm. Online condolences may be offered at smithweismantelfuneralhome.com.
