DONOVAN - Donald Of North Tonawanda, June 9, 2016, age 91. Beloved husband of the late Jeanette Donovan; devoted father of Edward (Rosemary) and Michael (Candi) Donovan; loving grandfather of Shawn, Ryan, Katie Craine, Patrick, Sara, Kevin and Kyle Donovan; step-grandfather of Mark Eichorst and Wendy Naus; brother of Vincent, late Leo, late Daniel Donovan, late Laverne and late Harold Spurbick; also survived by 13 great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Visitation Sunday 3 to 8 PM at the WATTENGEL Funeral Home, 533 Meadow Dr., N. Tonawanda, where funeral services will be held Monday at 10:00 AM. Interment, Elmlawn Cemetery. Mr. Donovan was a US Army Veteran. He came to the Tonawandas to be manager of Richardson Boat, he assisted the author in researching for the book "The Richardson Boat Story".
