I´ve known Jim for decades as a fellow attorney and Central Park neighbor . I mediated several of Jim´s cases to conclusion . He was always prepared and presented excellent work for his clients . He was very hard working and an all around good professional man . It was my pleasure to know him . We laughed about his wonderful head of hair ! I also know he loved his family very much and spoke of them often . So sorry for his passing. He will be missed by many I am sure . Regards Doug Coppola ( Depew Ave )

My Beloved Friend " Jimmy",
I have known you for 60 years, a lifetime for some people. I was "SHOCKED" when I was told of your passing. I met you at 13 years old, you were best friends of my future husband Denny.
I can´t get over it. You were my friend, my confidant, my lawyer, my rock. You were ALWAYS there for me. You were at ALL my Christmas parties, special occasions and just would ring my doorbell and there you were, just to come in and talk. We had many personal conversations, you also confided in me. Your text messages, your voicemail will remain forever, never to be erased. So many memories of you and Adam at my house when our sons were little.
I love you Jimmy and can´t accept your passing. I am struggling with it everyday. My sons who loved and respected you are trying to console me, the problem, it´s not working.
I know we are all born to die, but somehow, I thought you never would. I love you and miss you and will keep your memories alive until the day, I will see you in heaven because I know you are there.

I am very sorry to hear of my cousin Jimmy´s passing. Jim was a fine attorney, well respected by his peers for his trial skills and his knowledge of the law. He had the calm, soft spoken demeanor of a gentleman lawyer, but he fought hard to obtain justice for his clients. I knew him professionally ,as a fellow attorney, and he and I occasionally discussed interesting cases when we would see each other downtown . More often though we would talk about family and he would share stories with me from his boyhood about my mom and dad and grandparents and his parents. I will miss those conversations . Rest in peace.

Jim was a kind, a gentleman and zealous advocate. As a defense attorney, I practiced against him for 20 years. He was always friendly, regardless of the dispute, but a tough opponent. He will be missed and his memory is a blessing.

Rest in peace to my former Stepfather. I have great memories of him, and he was the perfect Stepfather! Jim treated me like his own son and was always patient and understanding. He was a great man and a very hard working Attorney. Jim would work 6 or 7:00 a.m. until 7:00 or 8 p.m. including weekends. Our bonding time was we would play basketball in the driveway and he was a good basketball player. His parents and family treated me like their blood family. I never once heard him yell or even raise his voice. Before Christmas his clients would send fruit baskets etc. to the house because they felt indebted to him because he would win them life changing money settling their lawsuits. Some of my best moments of the Buffalo Bills were with him as he had season tickets and took me and our family to hundreds of games including the Super Bowl run.
