Of Tonawanda, NY; age 92. Beloved husband of Joan P. (nee Jaeger) Kumor. Devoted father of Karen (Richard) Hilchey, Christine (Donald) Fisher and John (Sheri) Kumor. Cherished grandfather of Christopher (Heather) Hilchey, Jennifer Hilchey, Matthew Fisher and great-grandfather of Camden Hilchey. Loving son of the late John and Emily Kumor. Dear brother of the late Helen (late Edward) Koza and the late Ted (late Agnes) Kumor. Also survived by nieces and nephews. Arrangements by (Tonawanda Chapel) AMIGONE FUNERAL HOME, INC. John was a good person showing care for others with a pleasant attitude. He was instrumental in my career at the Corp of engineers. He trusted in your judgements, mentored as needed and stood by you if you needed it. My prayers go out to his family. Eternal rest grant unto him oh Lord and may perpetual light shine upon him. I didn´t work with John but became acquainted with him in Buffalo District Golf Outings.
John had an enjoyable intense, earthy and wry take on things and was a very good companion on the many outings we enjoyed together.
Rest in Peace, chum you leave a gap in our lives.
