Clare Kumor (nee Leszczynski) passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on October 22, 2024 at the age of 89. Beloved wife of the late Benjamin "Ben" J. Kumor. Loving mother of Joseph and his wife Mary Rose and Jan and his wife Trish. Dear grandmom of Vincent Kumor, Constance Smith (Mark), Thaddeus Kumor (Jessica) and Justin Kumor, David Kumor (Laura) and Nicole Kumor (Michael). Loved great grandmom of Jude, Leonard, Enzo, and Mason. Clare is predeceased by her brother Leonard Leszczynski and his late wife Loretta. She will be sorely missed by her nieces Linda Morris, Lisa Leszczynski and Louise Wills (Jeff).
Clare was deeply rooted in her Catholic faith. She was a member of both St. John Cantius Parish and the former All Saints Parish in the Bridesburg community of Philadelphia. Clare enjoyed many years down the shore with her beloved Ben. She was an avid gardener and took great pride in her flowers and plants around her home.
Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing and funeral Tuesday, November 5, 2024 beginning at 9:30am at St. John Cantius Church, 4416 E. Thompson St., Phila., PA 19137. Funeral Mass will begin at 11am. Interment will follow precisely at 1pm at the Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Clare's name to the Shrine of St. John Neumann by visiting stjohnneumann.org/donations or you may mail your donations to 1019 North 5th St., Phila., PA 19123
