Now, many years later, I saw Nina Albanese 0n my FB suggestion friend advertising. Thought to myself, "Hey I wonder if she's related " to "Larry Albanese" ? Did an online research, saw that Pastor Albanese did indeed pass over to Gloryland. I knew about him when he , on occasion came to Pine Crest Bible College as a guest speaker, and also to Rev. Mary Corvene pastor Assemblies of God in Schenectady NY. I was a student at Pine Crest, and Pastor Corvene was my Pastor. Glory Land awaits all the beloved ones of our Heavenly Father. (I'm now 80). Still trusting our most Precious Lord!

Remembering Pastor Larry Albanese, I would have to describe Pastor Albanese as a Man of God. I served on his board of deacons for 6 years at Warren First Assy. of God Church in Warren, Ohio. I had the privilege of witnessing his life not only behind the pulpit, but his home and family life. He taught me a lot about unconditional love and leadership. He was a great asset to the body of Christ. I loved to hear him explain the word of God as he would teach on Wednesday evenings. He will be greatly missed and I look forward to the day that I will see him again in the Presence of God.

Pastor Albanese was such a special blessing to me and to many others in my family. He was truly a man of God. A man of prayer and the word. A special time to me was early morning prayer on Fridays. Your father had what Charles Finney called "a spirit of prayer." To hear him speak to God was such a precious thing. It always led me deeper in prayer. Services at night were also special. It did not end with his sermon but a call to seek God and linger in His presence. Often you could hear his prayer..."Oh to see your glory!" That was the heart of your father. It has been many years since I heard him preach. One thing he said I try to live by was "Not to live your life in just the present but to live your life with eternity in view." Wise words from a man filled with the wisdom of God. He and Elizabeth were so kind and helpful as I grew in my walk. I am grateful God choose to place them in Warren Ohio and my family got to receive MUCH. Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His saints. That's your dad

Linda ... so very sorry to about Dad's "sunset" here, but rejoicing with his "sunrise" in Heaven! He married us 8-4-84 @ the 32nd & Liberty Church and he was a precious man of God ... "precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints" (Psalm 116:15). Sincerely, Doug & Sandy Nelson

We, too, loved this man of God! We were honored to call him friend! He was a master Bible teacher and loved the 'word'. We saw him in action on many mission trips as he ministered to pastors and was such an encouragement to so many. He will live in our hearts until the day we meet again. Love to all the family. Thank God for memories.

We went to First Assembly for many many years and truly loved Pastor Albanese! When he left, it left a hole that was filled but never totally...what an amazing man! Even after thirty two years, he still remembered marrying us. Heaven is fuller because he is there!

I was grieved to hear about brother Albanese's passing from this life. BUT I know that he is now truly HOME where we all "in Christ" desire to be one day. A wonderful man of God who truly cared for the flocks he was entrusted to by the commission to and through the anointing of Holy Spirit! My condolences to the surviving family, good friends and acquaintances.

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.

Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."

It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man.

God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.

When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.

I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.

There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.

If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.

So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.

And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.
