Of Cheektowaga, New York. Beloved husband of the late Mary Ann (nee Wurstner) Cheney; loving father of Paul Jr. (Alicia), Timothy (Jeanne), Janice, John Cheney and Lisa (Michael) Abruzzino; dear grandfather of six; great-grandfather of one, son of the late Edward and late Catherine "Helen" Cheney; brother of Helen Lawandus and also predeceased by brothers Gerald and Thomas and sisters Mary Joyce Schaefer and Kathleen Anderson; brother in law of Laura (late Thomas) Wurstner; also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and dear friends. Family will be present to receive friends on Thursday from 3-7PM at the PERNA, DENGLER, ROBERTS FUNERAL HOME, 1671 Maple Road, Williamsville NY. Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at St. Benedict Church 1317 Eggert Road Amherst NY on Friday at 9AM followed by Interment at Mount Calvary Cemetery. Please assemble at the church. Paul dedicated many years of service to Saint Joseph University Parish and was a proud recipient of the Saint Joseph the Worker Award. In lieu of flowers, donations in Paul's memory may be made to Hospice Buffalo or Saint Joseph's University School. Online condolences may be offered at www.denglerrobertspernawilliamsville.com
