Of Buffalo, NY, on February 4, 2018. Beloved wife of the late Oscar Smukler; loving mother of Toby(Ronald) Hollander, Diane (Thomas) Busch, Lisa (Ran) Zeimer, and Jacqueline (Thomas) Matheny; daughter of the late Lee and Eve Goldstein; sister of Bonnie (William) Apfelbaum and the late Gerald Goldstein; also survived by 13 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at Temple Beth Zion Sisterhood Chapel, 805 Delaware Ave. on Tuesday at 12 Noon. No prior visitations. The family will be receiving visitors at 33 Gates Circle on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, from 4-8 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Phyllis' name may be made to Hospice Foundation of WNY.
