My deepest sympathy to the family.
I went through OLV grammar school with Mike. Mr Tom Merrick was my teacher at LHS and a significant part of the Lackawanna that we knew.
The old city will not be the same without his presence.

We were saddened to hear of your Dad's passing. Surely he's busy getting ready to lead the Parade in Heaven. If not him, who? What a wonderful person he was! How fortunate we were to have him in our lives. Our deepest sympathies to you all.

Tom, Mike, Andy and Mary Ellen,
I was so sorry to read about your dad. He was so much a part of our neighborhood, and all our lives. He is the last bridge to a Lackawanna that is no more. I will never forget the many times he let me golf with him at South Park. His devotion to family, friends and his church was an inspiration to many of us who were honored to know him.
He and all of you will be in our prayers.
