ALEXANDER R. KAIGLE Dec. 4, 1987 - Jan. 18, 2015 BURLINGTON - Alex left us unexpectedly in the early hours of Sunday morning. We are so saddened by his passing. Alex was a Burlington resident. He attended Flynn Elementary School, Hunt Middle School, and Burlington High School, Class of 2006. He worked at the Sea Way Car Wash during high school and for a few years before enrolling at Vermont Technical College, where he pursued a degree in Electrical Engineering. He also served on the Colchester Volunteer Fire Department. Most recently, he worked for United Technologies in Vergennes. Alex is survived by his father, Richard; mother, Debra; sister, Tessa; meme, Ann Kaigle; as well as many, many uncles, aunts, cousins and friends! Viewing hours will be held on Sunday, Jan. 25, 2015, at the Ready Funeral Home, 261 Shelburne Rd., Burlington, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., with a short memorial service at 2 p.m. To send online condolences, please visit www.readyfuneral.com.

Our hearts are breaking over the loss of Alex in this world. Alex was a sweet soul who was always ready and willing to lend a hand to others in need. Alex readily joined in with our son Kevin and other friends to come to our rescue during the flood of 2011, in order to save our beloved family camp on Malletts Bay. He always found some way to be of help whenever he came by. Alex was a very kind, thoughtful, witty and intelligent young man who was always a pleasure to have around. We will miss him immensely, will think of him often and whenever beautiful fireworks fill the sky and we look towards heaven, we will remember Alex then as well. Our family would like to extend our most heartfelt condolences to Alex's family and all his friends. The world will not be the same without Alex.
