Hilaria H. Castillo, went to be with the Lord on October 2, 2012 at the age of 88 in Del Rio, Texas. She was born January 14, 1924 in Bastrop, Texas. She was preceded in death by her Parents Jose Hernandez and Petra. Brothers Mariano Hernandez, Alfredo Hernandez and Esiquio Hernandez. Sisters Juanita Pancardo and Panfila Magdaleno.


Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 64 years of marriage, Jose M. Castillo Sr. Sons, Jose M. Castillo Jr. and wife Dominga. Daughters Maria Elena Del Pozo and husband Jose, Maria Leticia Gutierrez and husband Samuel, Adelina Sauceda and husband Concepcion, Sylvia Martinez, Diamantina Castillo, Hilda Lopez and husband Jesse, Ema Porras. Brothers Natividad Hernandez and wife Maria, Andres Hernandez and wife Tomasa. Sisters Tomasa Luna and Paula Rios. 21 Grandchildren, 26 Great-Grandchildren and 2-Great-Great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.


Gentlemen with the honor of Pallbearers: Eric Del Pozo, Sammy Gutierrez III, Gabriel Castillo, Jesse Lopez III, Reynaldo Martinez, Mark Martinez, Robby Lopez and Heriberto Del Pozo. Honorary Pallbearers: Martin Luna,Jonathan Castillo and Tony Sauceda.


Visitation will be held Thursday, October 4, 2012 from 5:00pm to 9:00pm, Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home. Recitation of the Holy Rosary 7:00pm.


Mass of Christian burial will be held Friday, October 5, 2012 at 3:00pm, St. Joseph Catholic Church.


Interment to follow at Sunset Memorial Oaks Cemetery.
