Michael Baker Obituary
Michael Allen Baker (Mike) passed away at Veterans Memorial Hospital in Bedford, MA on July 26th following an extended battle with Alzheimer's.
Mike is predeceased by his mother, Dorothy (Davis) Baker of Burlington VT.
Mike is survived by his loving family, Rosemary (Desso) Baker, son Damien Baker, step daughter Victoria (Perry) Pawulak and her husband Joseph and loving companion Pippen (his yorkie). But his pride and joy were his grandsons Nathaniel and Alexander Pawulak.
Mike is lovingly remembered by his father George Baker of Burlington, Sandra and David Peters of Colchester, Patricia Barnes of Burlington, Timothy Baker of Burlington, Pamela Allen of Florida and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mike was born in Burlington, Vermont on April 17th, 1948. He attended BHS. Mike retired from IBM in June of 2013.
Mike was an avid hunter and fisherman. Every spring you were sure to find him walking his favorite streams with fishing pole in hand. Come fall he would exchange his pole for his rifle. Mike didn't live long enough to witness his grandson get his first deer, but he taught him all he knew in preparation for that day. He was a loyal Red Sox fan through thick and thin.
