Frank Pitlock Obituary

Frank J. Pitlock
Frank J. Pitlock, 82, of Saxonburg died early today at his home.
Born Sept. 14, 1923, in Harwick, he was the son of John and Frances Copcheck Pitlock.
He was a sergeant in the Army Air Force during World War II and retired as a foreman in the picking department at Moonlight Mushroom in 1982.
Mr. Pitlock was a member of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church in Cabot, the Saxonburg VFW Post 7376, the Saxonburg American Legion Post 683 and the Saxonburg Volunteer Fire Company.
He enjoyed woodworking, going to auctions and antique shows, the outdoors and camping.
Surviving are his wife, Shirley Hutzler Pitlock, whom he married Feb. 28, 1949; two sisters, Mary Ellen Rearick of Cranberry Township and Nellie Ann Albert of New Brighton; and several nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, and great-grandnieces and great-grandnephews.
A sister preceded him in death.
PITLOCK - Friends of Frank J. Pitlock, who died Tuesday, Feb. 21, 2006, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the FOX FUNERAL HOME, 410 W. Main St. Saxonburg. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, Cabot, with the Rev. John Getsy officiating. Burial will follow in at St. Mary Cemetery in Herman.
Memorial donations may be made to the VNA Hospice, 154 Hindman Road, Butler, PA 16001; or St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, 315 Stoney Hollow Road, Cabot, PA 16023.
