Robert "Bob" Joseph Christy Link, 53, of Boyers, passed away Friday, May 2, 2025.
Bob was born July 13, 1971, in Butler, to Eileen Christy Link. Bob graduated from Knoch High School. After graduating high school, Bob enlisted in the U.S. Marines. He was a peacetime veteran.
Bob married Cathy Hicks on March 31, 2009, she survives. Together the couple had a daughter, Sara Ann Link, whom Bob adored.
Bob most recently worked for Analytic Stress Company as a combustion technician.
Bob and Cathy loved to travel. They took trips out west on their Gold Wing. He was always up to go somewhere new. He also enjoyed being home with his girls, especially Sara, his daughter, who he cherished. Bob's favorite color was dark blue.
Loved ones to cherish Bob's memory are his wife, Cathy Link of Boyers; his daughter, Sara Ann Link at home; his mother, Eileen Christy of Hilliards; his two brothers, Pat Kerry of Chicora and Dave Christy of Hilliards; and his mother-in-law, Cathy Hicks of Karns City.
Bob was welcomed into heaven by Kenny Link, his adopted father; William Hicks, his father-in-law; and Mary Link, his maternal grandmother.
LINK - A celebration of the life of Robert "Bob" Joseph Christy Link, who died Friday, May 2, 2025, will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 7, at Sinner's Sanctuary Church, 2178 Clintonville Road, Harrisville, PA 16038, with Pastor Sam Stebbins officiating.
LARRY E. MCKINLEY FUNERAL HOME, Clintonville, is assisting the family with arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked to mail donations to the church to help with funeral expenses.
