Samuel Ambuster Obituary

Samuel V. Ambuster
Samuel V. Ambuster, 68, of Butler died at 5:37 a.m. Thursday at Butler Memorial Hospital.
Born July 23, 1936, in Pine Township, Mercer County he was the son of the late Howard Vincent and the late Myrtle Leona Blakeley Ambuster.
He had worked in the construction department for Pullman Standard.
Surviving are his wife, Thelma Irene Schelatree Ambuster, whom he married June 8, 1953; a son and his wife, Thomas V. and Elaine Ambuster; and four granddaughters, Mrs. Douglas (Victoria) Windon, Kimberly Ambuster, Mrs. Richard (Tammy) Osborne, and Samantha Ambuster.
AMBUSTER - Friends of Samuel V. Ambuster, who died Thursday, Jan. 6, 2005, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday at the WILLIAM F. YOUNG FUNERAL HOME, 132 Main St., West Sunbury. Services will be held at the funeral home at 2 p.m. Sunday with the Rev. Matt Kail, pastor of Muddycreek Presbyterian Church, officiating. Burial will follow at Butler County Memorial Park, Butler Township.

I will never forget Sam as a wonderful, generous, and fun gentleman that I have had the privlidge to have met and known over the years. He always had a way of brightening my work days every time I had any discussions with him. He will sadly be missed, but never forgotten.
