Corpus Christi - Charles "Lynn" Meeker, 77, of Corpus Christi, Texas passed away on Dec. 22nd, 2020. Charles was born in Lima, Ohio on March 29th, 1943 to parents Charles Mac and Angelene May (Benedetto) Meeker. Charles graduated in Ohio from Cridersville High School in 1961 and was known as Lynn to his fellow classmates, He married (Janice Dee Wells) in July of '61 and had the first of his two children (Richard Wells Meeker) March of '62 and in April of '65 (Christine LeAnn Meeker Nutter). He was also known for his comedic performances, story telling, and many gatherings focused on food, family, friends, and fun.

Charles is survived by his sister (Darlene Meeker Kill Overmyer), his first wife (Janice Dee Wells), his 3 children, 5 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren. Two Celebrations of Life will be held to honor Charles at a later date. One in Ohio with family and friends and another with family and friends in Corpus Christi, Texas. Details will be communicated when final plans have been made. Charles' zest for life and laughter will forever be remembered. God's arms will hold him until we all meet again. Rest in Loving Peace!
