Elena Herrera HernandezRobstown, TXElena Herrera Hernandez was welcomed home into the loving arms of our Heavenly Father on Sunday, November 1, 2015. She was born on June 14, 1951, in Robstown, Texas, to Aurelio and Virginia Torres Herrera. She was a devout Catholic, a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church, a volunteer of the Social Services, a CCD teacher, a core member of the Apostles of the Devine Mercy, choir and Prayer Group. Elena was a loving and caring wife, mother, sister, aunt grandmother and friend who will be dearly missed.She goes home to the Lord to reunite with her parents; and two brothers, Manuel Lopez and Jesus Lopez Jr., who preceded her in death.She is survived by her husband, Juan S. Hernandez, her children: Juan Miguel 'Mike' (Isabel) Hernandez, Jose Cristobal Hernandez, Elva Marie Hernandez (Phillip Hinojosa), and Adan Marcos (Erica) Hernandez; three sisters: Cruz (the late Lorenzo) Quintanilla, Mary (the late Epimenio) Rojas, and Elva (Edward) Ybarra. She will also be missed by her six grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m., on Wednesday, November 4, 2015, at Ramon Funeral Home Chapel in Robstown, Texas.
