I remember Lenora as a teenager and young adult when she lived in the Milano area and her sister June. We often visited her family on weekends for domino games and family gatherings and on family "hen parties" when there was a quilting bee. I´ll never forget my mother, aunts and Wanda June all making their own dresses and aprons etc. I was 10 when Lenora graduated from high school and I didn´t see much of her after she graduated but was always glad to see her when I did. I also remember June going to Tennessee with my family on vacation and my mother had a picture of June posing at the gate of Elvis Presley´s Graceland with the groundskeeper. We couldn´t go in because Elvis was away on tour but June was ecstatic. I was really sick about June passing away so young but she was allowed to pass peacefully at home with her family so that was a small comfort for her.
Rest in Peace Lenora and June. You are missed by everyone who knew you.
