Stephanie Guzman Stephanie Guzman, age 54 of Thorndale, passed away Friday morning, Dec. 16, 2022, in Hutto.

Services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 22, 2022, at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Rockdale with Sammy Munoz officiating. Burial in the Thorndale Cemetery in Thorndale. Visitation is 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 21, 2022, at the funeral home.

Stephanie was born April 19, 1968, in Taylor to Santiago and Mary (Morales) Hinistroza. She was a graduate of Thorndale High School and then served in the U.S. Navy. On June 12, 1999, she and Eric Guzman were married. To this union three children were born. She worked as a Dental Assistant with Taylor Dental Professionals of Taylor for the past 17 years. She is a member of San Gabriel Evangelic Christian Church.

Stephanie is preceded in death by her grandparents, Santiago and Oralia Hinistroza, and Andres and Jovita Morales.

Surviving is her husband of 23 years, Eric Guzman of Thorndale; daughter, Patricia Rick and husband Bryan of Thorndale; two sons, Eric Guzman Jr. and Courtney Gray of Thorndale and Scott Guzman of Thorndale; her parents, Santiago "Jimmy" and Mary Hinistroza of Thorndale; her sister, Kelly Ortiz and husband Jr. of Thorndale; and four grandchildren, Zachary Rich, Oliver Rich, Aiden Holden and Kade Holden.

Serving as pallbearers, Trey Ortiz, Tyler Ortiz, Kim Huber, Rheannon Pierce, Cory Huber, Cole Huber and Jennifer Simank. Honorary pallbearers, Inocencio Ortiz, Jr., Bryant Rich and Ruby Ortiz.
