Blanche Marsh Obituary
90, of Massillon, passed away at home with family on August 23, 2021. The daughter of the late John and Florence Riedle, Blanche graduated from Massillon Washington High School in 1949. She was a retired postal worker who, at one time, drove bus for Massillon Schools. A great animal lover, she cared for the birds, squirrels, her eight rescue cats and donated to many worthy causes.
Besides her parents, Blanche is proceeded in death by her four sisters Eleanor, Carol, Jean, Mary Ann, her son Greg and her long-time companion Jim Long. She is survived by her son Mike (Norene) Marsh, daughter Cheryl (Scott) Willyerd, eight grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Cremation has taken place. Memorials in Blanche's name may be made to the Stark County Humane Society or the Wilderness Center in Wilmot.

I dearly miss Blanche. She was my buddy and we always enjoyed our time together. I loved hearing stories she shared about the adventures that she and my dad, Jim, had. Blanche and I had lots of enriching visits and conversations over many years and we both enjoyed a shared love of animals and nature. She is surely missed!

I will miss seeing Blanche and sharing a beverage together. Our visits always felt special and I enjoyed hearing stories of her travels with my dad. If a I had question about plants I could ask Blanche and she would have the answer. She will be remembered fondly.

Dear Mike, Cheryl and families: Deepest heartfelt sympathies to you all at this time of such great loss. Your Mom was a wonderful lady...I have so many fun childhood memories of her and the Marsh family! Know that Doug and I are praying for you now and in the days ahead.
