Clarence L. Huebner
Clarence L. "Diz" Huebner, age 92, of Massillon, passed away Tuesday at Affinity Medical Center-Massillon Campus. He was born on Feb. 15, 1914 in Uhrichsville to the late Charles and Mary Huebner. Clarence had lived in Massillon most of his life. He was a 1932 graduate of Brewster High School. He was a U.S. Army veteran and served our country in WWII. Clarence worked as an assistant chief clerk for the Norfolk and Western Railroad. He was also a member of Brewster United Methodist Church. Clarence was an avid sports fan and a model train collector. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Esther Huebner in 1979; and brothers and sisters, William, Charles, Alvin, Minnie and Myrtle. He is survived by his daughter, Cathi (Jon) Ulbright of Wooster; and his son, Jim Huebner of Carrollton; grandchildren, Amanda (Christopher) Eberhardt and Megan Ulbright; great-grandchildren, Hunter and Liam Eberhardt. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, January 26, 2007 at 2:00 P.M. at the Paquelet Funeral Home in Massillon. Calling hours will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Rev. Joe Wright of Brewster U.M.C. will be officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens.
