Kenneth Dell Obituary
Age 73, of Canton, passed away Wednesday morning in his residence. Born in Alliance, a son of the late Ralph and Ann Riendt Dell, he had been a Canton resident since 1969. Ken was a 1957 graduate of Alliance High School and a member of First Friends Church. He was the owner of Dell's Cyclery in Canton since 1969, previously operating Dell's Bike and Hobby Shop in Salem.
Survived by his wife, Judy Dell, with whom he would have celebrated their 45th wedding anniversary on Oct. 5; two daughters and sons-in-law, Charlene and Wes Bren, and Christine and Andries van der Bent, all of Cincinnati; one son and daughter-in-law, Paul and Jennifer Dell, of Peterborough, N.H.; one sister and brother-in-law, Judy and David Carley, of Indianapolis, Ind.; one brother and sister-in-law, Dan and Clare Dell, of Cincinnati; and nine grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held Monday at 11 a.m. in First Friends Church with Pastor Shawn Yost and Pastor Ben Walters officiating. Friends may call Sunday from 5-7 p.m. in the Formet-Clevenger & Gordon Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Ken's memory may be made to Aultman Hospice, 2821 Woodlawn Ave. NW, Canton, OH 44708, or First Friends Church, (in the memo: Dell Memorial), 5455 Market Ave. N., Canton, OH 44714. We are so sorry to hear of Ken's passing. We bought many bikes and parts from him over the years and enjoyed talking with him. Ken would always help our kids as they rode their bikes to the bike shop for help or parts. He was a great person and will be missed!

Judy and Family, I was so sad to learn of Ken's passing. His laugh and smile is a great memory of mine, as were all of the bicycle dinners and trips to Columbus every year. He will be greatly missed. I didn't know Mr. Dell but my son-in-law wouldn't do business with any other bike shop. My grandsons who do BMX racing would take their trophies in to show Mr. Dell. He was a dear friend to them all.
