Sophia Douglas Obituary
age 90, of North Canton, passed away Wednesday, April 26, 2017. She was born in Morgantown, W.Va., on June 17, 1926. She retired from Superior Meats. Sofia was preceded in death by her parents, John and Catherine Riggie.
She is survived by her daughter, Cindi (Scott) Rains of Florida; grandchildren, Mitchell Scott Rains and Samuel Douglas Rains; sisters, Elizabeth Riggie and Virginia (Ed) Schmidt all of Canton. Also survived by nieces: Terri (Ed) Roth, Cathy (Mike) Grant and Lauri Schmidt; and great nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will not be held. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Association.
