Derrick Offer Obituary
Derrick Michel Offer Sr., 48, a resident of Deale, died January 25 at Anne Arundel Medical Center, Annapolis.
He was born July 2, 1962 in Annapolis. He was a graduate of the class of 1980 of Southern Senior High School, Harwood.
He is survived by his father and mother, James and Pamela Offer; four children, Candyce, Derrick Jr., Lauren and Lacey Offer; two brothers, Terrence Offer, Sr. and Dion Tucker; one sister, Carla Sanders; grandmother, Loretta Thompson; brother-in-law, Albert Sanders and a host of aunts, uncles, great aunts and great uncles.
Family and friends are invited to Derrick's Life Celebration and Homegoing Ceremony on Thursday, February 3 at Chesapeake Christian Fellowship, 377 Central Ave, Davidsonville.
A viewing will be held from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m., followed by a Christian Wake from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., with the Life Celebration immediately following.
Funeral arrangements are entrusted to William Reese and Sons Mortuary, PA, 821 West St., Annapolis, MD 21401. Interment Lakemont Memorial Gardens, 900 West Central Ave., Davidsonville.

You are and always will be missed by everyone that you touched in this world. You was a Great Father, Uncle, Son, Brother and most of all.....MY BEST FRIEND. Yeah, its me, your Brother, Terrence, man I miss you. I remember all the good times and the bad, but, we made it through them all. As we were growing up you made me proud as your little brother. I wanted everything you had for myself. I remember telling everyone that my brother has the baddest this and the baddest that. Then one day, I came out with the baddest motorcycle around and you called me everyday and told me to take it here, take it there so all your friends could see it. I was finally there and loved all of the love you showed and gave me. I make you this Brother to Brother, Best Friend to Best Friend promise.....I will never let this world forget who Derrick Michel Offer, Sr. was and is to me. It's difficult to express the loss of one I love so much. I attempt to find solace in knowing that God makes no mistakes and that Derrick is in a place where there is no more pain,stress,or strife.
