Jonathan Andrew Meeder, 47, died suddenly in his home on February 22.
He was born on October 14, 1963 in Annapolis to Philip Meeder of Annapolis and Judith Werle Meeder (deceased). A native Annapolitan and resident of Odenton, Jonathan was an at-home father, an avid photographer and autodidact. He was passionate about family, politics, food, bicycling and justice. Jon attended Annapolis Sr. High School and received his diploma in 1981. He also earned an Associates degree from Anne Arundel Community College. Before his career as an at-home father, Jon worked for UPS, Anne Arundel County Board of Education and a local photography company.
He is survived by his father; his wife, Jessica Hamman Meeder; three children, William Joseph Meeder, Philip Jackson Meeder and Grace Elizabeth Meeder; four siblings, Laurie Meeder, David Meeder, Colin Meeder and Christopher Meeder; uncle, David Werle, six cousins; and many friends.
