Lucille Wilson


Lucille M. Wilson, 89, of Deale, died September 27 at home after a 1 1/2 year battle with cancer.
Lucille enjoyed watching the Washington Redskins, Baltimore Orioles, working crossword puzzles and playing poker with her friends.
She was preceded in death by her first husband Garrison Umstead, Sr.; second husband, Paul Wilson; brother, Charles Snead; and sister, Ruth Edgar.
Lucille is survived by her son Butch of Florida; daughter, Shannon of Deale; four siblings, Lillian Nutwell, Lulamae Nickel, Mable Shephard and Ernie Snead; grandson, Paul; two granddaughters, Brittany and Fallon along with several other grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
There will be a celebration of her life at a later date.
Contributions can be made in Lucille's name to Hospice of Chesapeake at 445 Defense Highway, Annapolis, MD 21401 or American Cancer Society.

Grandma you will always be in my heart and your memories will be carried on in our family, I love you and will miss you always, I just wish that I had the chance to say good bye. I will continue to make you proud of me. Love Little Shannon
