Daniel "the walker" was how I remember him. Such a presence in our neighborhood. He had a very distinctive walk and almost always wore his baseball cap in good weather. You knew he was coming and so you waited for him so you could converse, be enlightened, and just share space with a truly beautiful spirit. Our neighborhood will miss him and I miss him and our talks most every day. Blessings upon you Daniel for sharing life, laughter, stories, and love with our world.

Dan was one of my best and closest friends. A true gem of a man and an immense talent. We made things together, had lots of fun and interesting adventures, and helped each other in hard times. My life will always be better for having had him in it, and I miss him so very much.

I enjoyed many conversations with Dan as he walked through the neighborhood. He was kind, considerate and friendly. He introduced me to the Louisville Tool Library! The neighborhood will miss him greatly.
