Keith Cox Obituary

Keith Robert Cox, 66, of Finksburg, died Thursday, August 14, 2025, at Northwest Hospital, with family by his side. Born January 28, 1959 in Baltimore, he was the son of Norman Richard Cox and Nancy Lee Dayhoff Cox. He worked in building services at Fairhaven and Springfield Hospital. Keith graduated from Westminster High School, Class of 1977. He enjoyed his friends, sprint car racing, dining out, bingo, going to carnivals, TV sports, and rooting for the Orioles and Ravens. Besides his parents, Keith is survived by siblings Richard N. Cox (Brenda) of Finksburg; his twin Dawn M. Cox Morgan (Scott) of Hanover, PA; and Sandra J. Cox Cashman (David) of Smithfield, VA. Keith is also survived by 15 nieces and nephews and devoted friends Georgie Gagnon, Jim and Janice Cooke, and Bob and Winnie Freyer. He was predeceased by sister Susan D. Cox Albaugh. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 19, 2025 from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Fletcher Funeral & Cremation Services, 254 E. Main St., Westminster. Funeral services will begin at 12 p.m. Interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Gardens in Finksburg.

We've been friends many years Traveling to races, mowing lawns, Restaurant's, car shows, weddings. You help me move to my house. Keith old buddy your friendship was nothing short of wonderful. I'm already missing my daily call. Keith I know your smiling down on each and every friend and family member. you suffer no more!!. If only we could chat once more.
