Not sure what to say?

Mark was in my second grade class at Centennial Lane Elementary in Miss Kimbrough's class. A memory of him came to mind recently and made me curious to see where he is now and I am very saddened to find out that he passed away many years ago.

I remembered him as an incredibly funny, charismatic, and sweet guy. He said his family's nickname for him was Sparky and I always imagined he would grow up to become an actor or TV host. One time, most of the class started laughing at me because the school yearbook had made a ridiculous spelling error with my name and I started crying. Mark was the only person who didn't laugh and checked in - he was sitting at the adjacent table and caught my eye with a look of concern and asked, "Tina, are you ok?" He gave me a warm smile and a thumbs up and said something along the lines of "don't worry about what others think," which made me feel a lot better. I have never forgotten his kindness. My deepest condolences to his family and friends.

My prayers to Mark's family. Mark was a good friend of our 2 sons. I met Mark at Adam's 21st birthday party. Mark went out of the way to talk Orioles baseball with me. He was a very mannerly, caring, and friendly person.
