Thomas Fallon Obituary



Thomas E. Fallon Sr., 79, of Westminster, passed away Feb. 10, 2012, after a brief illness.

Born Aug. 7, 1932, Fallon was the son of the late Louis and Francis Simonson Fallon. He was the husband of Joan C. Fallon, his wife of 57 years.

He served his country in the U.S. Naval Reserve for 12 years. Fallon worked for the Baltimore City Fire Department. After his retirement, he worked for the Carroll County Sheriff's Department where he continued to serve the community for more than 20 years. He also served as president of the Maiden Choice Village Association and the Arbutus Sailorettes Majorette Corps. He was best known for his love of his family, his sense of humor and playing practical jokes.

Surviving, in addition to his wife, are daughters, Carole and husband Chuck Holland; Teresa and husband Randy Snyder; son Thomas Jr. and wife Belinda Fallon; grandchildren Randy Snyder Jr.; Allison and husband Toby Hann; Sarah Holland; Melanie Snyder and Thomas Fallon III; great-grandson Nicholas Patrick Hann and many nieces and nephews .

He was predeceased by brothers Bernard and James Fallon.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 29 at Our Lady of Victory Church, 4416 Wilkens Ave., Baltimore. Interment will be private at Crest Lawn Memorial Gardens, in Marriottsville.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks you to have a cookout with your family and take a friend to lunch.
