Professor Rabenhorst was my college adviser. My first semester at UMBC I was 40 years old, I failed almost every class I took, and was very disheartened and unhappy. He encouraged me, showed me my errors, helped me plan a way forward, and I was able to succeed. I graduated in 2011, with a degree in Environmental Science and a GIS certificate. He had a wonderful skill of breaking down the most difficult subjects so they were clear and simple to understand. He was a warm and caring person. I took 4 of his classes, and one with Mrs. Rabenhorst, I also attended a class with their son. My prayers are with you you all.

To the Rabenhorst Family,

We can not put into words how we are feeling at the loss of our dear friend Tom. The world will miss Tom's smile and his love. Family we are so sorry that we can not be with you in your time of sorrow, but know we are here in prayer. As you read in Hebrews 3:14 it said," If we are faithful to the end, trusting God just as we did when we first became Christians, we will share in all that belongs to Christ. We know Tom was faithful until the end. Heaven has welcome someone truly special. Rest In Peace Tom.

Love, the Bell Family
