Kenneth "Brad" Bradley Caldero, 35 (1990~2025)
Kenneth Bradley Caldero lived a life marked by love, strength, and courage. From the very beginning, Brad was such a happy, energetic kid with a big heart and a deep love for animals.
Brad was deeply loved by his family, and that love ran both ways. His mother, Kelly, was his constant source of comfort and unconditional love - her support never wavered. His father, Tony, was a steadfast pillar of strength, encouragement, and both are deeply grounded in faith. Brad shared a special bond with his sister, Mariah, filled with laughter and a deep understanding only siblings share. He also adored his young nephew, Kyler, whose energy and laugh were a source of joy for him. He was particularly close to his grandparents, Ken and Virginia, and time spent on their porch talking with them meant the world to him. Their love for Brad was unshakable, and he carried that love with him always.
Brad chose a life of service, enlisting in the United States Army and serving as a sniper in Afghanistan. He earned several awards for his courage and exemplary service. His sacrifices to our country cannot be measured in words.
After his service, he faced an entirely different kind of battle - one that tested every part of him. He fought long and hard to find healing and peace. Through it all, his love for his family never wavered. He leaned on them, loved them deeply, and was loved fiercely in return.
Brad had a special connection to the simple joys in life-whether it was spending time outdoors or time with those closest to him. He gave of himself fully-in service to his country, in friendship to those who knew him, and in love to his family.
We take comfort in the promise that this goodbye is not forever. One day, we will see Brad again in the presence of Jesus-where there is peace, joy, and everlasting love. In that place, all pain is gone, every burden lifted, and hearts are made whole.
Brad will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
