Warriors Mark, Pennsylvania - Clark E. "Corky" Cunningham, 88, of Warriors Mark, formerly of Spruce Creek, passed away on November 26, 2024. He was born March 22, 1936 in Altoona, the son of Levi Blandon and Minnie Bell (Fisher) Cunningham. On August 22, 1956, in Winchester, VA, he married the love of his life, Phyllis Biddle, who survives.
In addition to his wife he is survived by daughter Vickie Cunningham of Lemont and son Brian Cunningham and wife Rita of Spruce Creek; grandchildren Aaron Cunningham and wife Alyssa, Alyssa Morgan Cunningham, Aston Boone, Adam Boone and Michael Cunningham; great grandchildren Hunter Cunningham, Hadley Cunningham, Cash Denny, Owen Cunningham and Emma Cunningham; sisters Zoe Westcott and Geraldine Gorman, both of Bellmeade. He was preceded in death by two brothers and four sisters.
He was a 1954 graduate of Warriors Mark School. He served in the U.S. Army from 1955-1958. He worked for Curtiss Breeding Service and Harpster Farms, then for Chemcut as a sales manager for 20 years. He was an officer of the Colerain Fishing Club and served on the Spruce Creek Board of Elections, but his greatest achievement was being "Pap".
A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 2, at 2 p.m. at the Bruce E. Cox Funeral Home, 3784 Warriors Mark Path, Warriors Mark with Pastor Joe Rose officiating. Interment will follow in Burket Cemetery. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 12 p.m. until the time of services at 2 p.m.
