Carl Eugene Ross
CONCORD -- Mr. Ross, 67, of 737 Gaylan Court, died Friday, December 22, 2006.
Funeral services for Mr. Ross will be conducted at 2:00 PM Friday in the Solid Rock Worship Center, Kannapolis. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at Lady's Funeral Home, Kannapolis, Thursday from 6:00 until 8:00 PM.
Mr. Ross was born in Cabarrus County on January 29, 1939, a son of the late Carl S. Ross and Louise Mullis Ross. He was a Deacon at Solid Rock Worship Center, and retired from Carolina Handling in Charlotte.
Survivors include his wife, Ramona Ross; three daughters, Dorothy R. Harrington and husband, Christopher, of Charlotte, Taffney S. Church and husband, David, of Troutman, and Crystal R. Williams of Concord; two sons, Trent Rae Short of Florida and Marcus L. Bolding of Liberty, SC; two brothers; eight grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
Lady's Funeral Home and Crematory is assisting the family of Mr. Ross with arrangements.

Romona, I am so very sorry for your loss. Carl was a great guy, He took me under his wing when I first started at Carolina Handling.
He became a good friend and leader.
He will be missed a great deal.

Carl is one of the best men we every knew. We loved him so much. The best brother in law anyone could have. He will never be forgotten. Our prayers are with you Sissy and know you are loved so very much.
