Jane, Frannie and family,
It was a priviledge to know and care for your Mom. I only regret that I did not know her longer. She was so easy to love even as she suffered with her arthritis in the later years. She never complained. We laughed and joked, talked about Louisville, Ky., your father and in doing so became quite good friends. I can truly say that she made my job fun and pleasant.
Mrs. McClain loved each of you dearly and spoke often about how blessed she had been to have such good girls. She would share good times while yall were growing up and I was right there with her as I could really relate to her stories.
Please be comforted by your fond memories of her and I appreciate you sharing your "Nanny" with me for a little while.
With sincere sympathy,
Cindy Fisher
