October 31, 1960 - June 21, 2021
Mint Hill, North Carolina - Gregory John Bandos, age 60, of Mint Hill, NC passed away at his home on Monday, June 21, 2021 after a long, hard battle with Cholangiocarcinoma Cancer.
Greg was the owner and operator of "Greg Handyman Service". Greg gave everyone he knew the very best of himself every day.
He enjoyed NASCAR, fishing, traveling, and many road trips with his wife Diane Deonna.
Greg was predeceased by his parents, John and Shirley Bandos and brother, Bob Bandos.
He is survived by his wife Diane Deonna Bandos and siblings, Debbie, Kathy and Sandy Bandos.
A memorial service will be held Friday, July 2, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Living Saviour Lutheran, 6817 Carmel Road, Charlotte, North Carolina 28226.
In lieu of customary remembrances, the family asks that memorials be sent to Cholangiocarcinoma Research Foundation www.cholangiocarcinoma.org

Aunt Diane, I love you and Uncle Greg. I always have and I always will. I will always remember all the fun times we had driving around in his truck through apple orchards just to splash mud everywhere, going to see CATS and us giggling and throwing popcorn at him while he slept (as usual), watching nascar at your house in colonie, and just hanging out laughing endlessly about everything and nothing. Something I will also never ever forget was him carrying my dad up the stairs at grammie and grampie's house. It was so amazing to me back then and it still is now. He was such an incredibly awesome person. I am lucky to be his niece. Love you always Uncle Greg. I hope you're being held by the ones we have lost, but you have now found.

I cherished the friendship that Greg and i had together. He was there for me in a time of need. We were always there for each other. We did many projects together, spent a lot of time working together and helped each other out. Greg was always there to help out and lend a hand. Greg will be missed very much. My deepest sympathy to his family. Hopefully Greg is in a better place. Love Brian Hicks.

I was recently in contact with Greg on a few occasions and I´m glad we touched base. We talked about old times and shared some great memories. Greg seemed in good spirits in spite of his disease and he fought a courageous battle. Greg will be missed. My condolences to Diane and his relatives and loved ones. R.I.P. Greg, I´m glad our paths crossed many years ago and hope we meet again one day.

Greg was a special person, he was an especially great husband to Deonna. I´m happy to have witnessed the dedication he demonstrated to her in the past, and her reciprocation of that love and devotion to Greg in the past months.

I consider myself to be the sixth child in the Bandows family. Mr. & Mrs. Bandows treated me like one of their own and Bob was my best friend growing up. Greg was my other big brother and loosing him is another heart break I can´t describe. I love you Greg. Rest In Peace
