Inez Stubbs Obituary
CHERAW -- Mrs. Stubb died Wednesday, May 22, 2008. She was born in Durham, NC she was the daughter of the late Prince Eugene and Nerva Smith. She was a retired Registered Nurse with over 50 years of service.
Services will be held on Saturday, May 24, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. in Chatham Hill Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends following the service.
Surviving are her daughter, Linda Williamson of Ponte Verda, FL; two grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
Norto Funeral Home of Cheraw is serving the Stubb Family.

I'm so sorry to read about the passing of Mrs. Inez. She was my great grandma's daughter. I would love to know more about her as I just started doing genealogy.

Your mother was a kind and lovely person and I will remember both her and Duck fondly. You were so fortunate to have had her for so many years. You are in my and Tommy's prayers.

Linda, I can't tell you how sorry I am about your mother. The memories come flooding back. The pinestraw on the front porch, paperdolls, coloring,Duck and his water tricks. Inez taught me so much. I think about her everytime I make a bed. Butterbeans. Bisquits. Peach syrup. Those are wonderful memories. She will be remembered. Mother sends her love, too. She too has lots of fond memories of Inez. I am sorry we missed the funeral. We will be in Cheraw on the 29th. I don't have your cell. I can be reached at 760-220-1815.
