I am heartbroken to hear of Jimmy's passing. He was such a sweetheart and I was proud to call him friend since the 6th grade. I am so grateful that we had a couple of visits earlier this year. I pray God's peace over all of you. I know he will be missed. Jean

Jimmy, as we knew him, grew up in the same neighborhood as I did. He came by Webster Place a few years ago when I was caring for my mom. We all had a lot of fun back in the day He was a very sweet and kind man. He will be missed. My condolences to his family.

I did an article on Hoot and his amazing blood donation efforts while I was working on Duke Energy's employee publications. He surely had a passion for that.
