I am a Charlottean. I did not know officer Jordan Sheldon nor HIS companions Ramon or Loki. I am compelled to let you know of my unwavering support for our officers and all they do for such little compensation. Being in the healthcare field, I KNOW we are called to be in our line of service to the community, it is NEVER about the money, but the people we serve. We see the very best, the very worst and sometimes the mediocrity surrounding humanity. I want you to know that you and yours are being lifted in prayers, thoughts, blessings and peaceful, private contemplation. A REAL time for grieving.I pray that YOU, the family, get to retire Ramon, as was Loki, as canine family member (s)(officers) and keep them as loving reminders of your fiancé, son, Godson, grandson and at very MINIMUM, friends. YOU, DERSERVE LOKI and RAMON's companionship Jordon enjoyed and savored daily. Please accept my sorrow, grief, blessings, soft gentle memories in the coming months and years as you work through this very difficult most impossible loss. The "firsts" WILL be horrid-first Mother's Day, Father's Day, what was to be your wedding day, birthdays, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's Eve. Just know-it can only be one second at a time sometimes that isn't even enough. Do NOT isolate. It is easy to do-believe me. YOU WILL want to isolate, not get out of bed, socialize, but you cannot for those left behind to carry on Jordan's name, strength, attitude, convictions and most likely one that WILL follow in HIS footsteps of Servitude to OUR Community. Always KNOW, there are those of us, that you don't know, your unseen angels, praying for you, thinking of you and will be available to you in any way we can be of service such as YOU GO FUND ME PAGE. PEACE,BLESSINGS & GOD"S STRENGTH BE YOURS TODAY & EVERYDAY FOREWARD.

I did not know Jordan; I wished that I had. Such a tough loss to deal with for his family his friends and the city of Mooresville. I am from York S.C. and when I learned about this tragic loss of a fine young police officer, my heart sank. I watched the news story on tv with tears in my eyes. And it is very hard for me to forget this wonderful person and the senseless way in which he was lost. I am sure that Officer Sheldon will be greatly missed for a very long time! My thoughts and prayers are with his family at this most difficult time and Officer Shelton, you were loved, not only by your friends and family but also by your canine partners. Rest in peace, Jordan. I will never forget you and your beautiful smile.

I am so sorry for the loss of your son, Jordan. I'm the mother of a police officer. They are special men and women, who have a heart for protecting and serving.
I will have you all, in my prayers as I have, that God will give you peace, comfort and strength as you walk through this most difficult time.

I extend my heartfelt sympathies to Sheldon's family. I taught with his mom, Susan, and know how very proud she was of him. You all are in my prayers.
