August 27, 1936 - June 19, 2025

Charlotte, North Carolina - Kenneth Pappas, 88, of Charlotte, North Carolina, passed away June 19, 2025. Born August 27,1936, in Quebec, Canada, he was the son of the late Costadino and Alexandra Pappas.

He was the station manager for American Airlines for 45 years. He enjoyed golf, traveling, cooking, and spending time with his family.

Kenneth is survived by his stepson Kim Copses and Wife Staci Copses, stepdaughter Kelly Wright, Son-in-law Doug Wright, grandchildren Adam, Lacy and Carlin Wright. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by 9 brothers and sisters.

The family will receive friends from 11 am to 12 pm on Tuesday, July 1, 2025, at St. Nektarios Greek Orthodox Church, 5108 Kuykendall Rd, Charlotte, NC 28270 with services at 12:00pm.

Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery.

Arrangements are under the direction of Hankins and Whittington Funeral Service, 1111 East Blvd., Charlotte, NC 28203.
