Please know how much we all loved Dan. He was an amazing man, gifted, kind, and so very loving. He will truly be missed.
Dan is now happy and at peace. And, he wants you to be that way too. Time will help it always does....and we'll all see him again- with that wonderful smile and twinkle in his eye!

What a beautiful service today for Daniel. Tate and I spoke of happy thoughts of him at 5 yrs. old. The amount of visitors today is a true testament to how he touched many lives. Prayers for you all.

Dan will always be remembered and loved by everyone that ever met him. I met him 12 yrs ago and with the last phone call 3 weeks ago, he still made me laugh and love him even more..if that were possible. I know he has found peace where he is as he was and still is an absolute angel.

I am so sad to hear of Daniel's passing. I have fond memories of him and Sardis church camping outings near Boone. I remember his great sense of humor. The entire Carlson family is in my thoughts and prayers.

Stephanie, Ed and Chase, we cannot begin to express our heartfelt condolences concerning Daniel. It is beyond comprehension how it must feel to lose a son, like Daniel. I can still remember the ball games that Tommy and Daniel played, at McClintock middle school. Please know that our prayers are with you, and the entire family. The LORD is near.
