Louie Frank Thompson 64 of Catawba died Friday, July 22nd, 2016 at his residence. Born May 25th, 1952 he was the son of the late Louie Frank Thompson, Sr. and Evelyn Elaine Williams Thompson. He was the owner and operator of Thompson Roofing Company. He was first a Christian who loved his family especially his grandchildren. He enjoyed fishing and spending time at the beach.

His wife of 45 years, Janice Marie Boatwright Thompson of the home; two sons, Scott C. Thompson and wife Angela of Catawba and Brian P. Thompson and wife Amy of Denver, NC; three brothers, David Thompson of Greer, SC, Ray Thompson of Greenville, SC and Edward Thompson of Newton and five grandchildren, Rachel, Tyler, Dylan, Kailey and Emily survive him.

The Celebration of Louie's life will be 5:00pm Wed, July 27th, 2016 at Olivet Baptist Church with Pastor Matt Rummage and Pastor Thomas Hullette officiating.

The family will receive friends from 3:30-5:00pm Wed, July 27th, 2016 at Olivet Baptist Church.
