Louise Bullington McCall "Mema" CHARLOTTE - Louise Bullington McCall, of Charlotte, peacefully passed away on February 27, 2016, at the age of 95. She was born on Easter Sunday, April 4, 1920, in Spartanburg, SC, to the late Dewey McKinney and Eva Vandiver Bullington. She retired from Brady Distributing Company and had also assisted her husband James Dwight in the family construction business. She was a faithful Charter member of Assurance United Methodist Church. Louise was a wonderful woman with strong Christian faith. She loved her family and her concern and prayers for others had no end. She created beautiful paintings and shared them with family and friends. Preceding her in death is her beloved husband, James Dwight McCall (Papa); brothers, Douglas and Dewey Bullington; sisters, Amelia Moore and Marguerite Dye. Surviving are her children Eric McCall (Cathy) of Great Falls, SC and Sandra Ellis (Ronald) of Charlotte; brother, Lewis Bullington; grandchildren, Tamara McElveen (David); Christina Roche (Steve), Shawn McCall, Daniel McCall, Joel McCall and Jesse McCall, Keeghan Caldwell, Melissa Caldwell and Stacy Rosinski; great-grandchildren, Mason, Saxon, Hailey, Justin, Kara and Vivian. Services will be held on Thursday, March 3, 2016, at 10:30 am at Assurance United Methodist Church with Reverend Chris Westmoreland and Reverend Daniel Corpening officiating. The body will lie-in-state in the church 30 minutes prior to the service. The family will receive friends following the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Assurance United Methodist Church, 9700 Mt. Holly-Huntersville Rd., Huntersville, NC 28078.
