Charlotte, North Carolina - Matthew (Matt) Todd Creasser of Charlotte North Carolina passed away on June 23, 2023. He was a loving son, brother, husband and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Matt was born December 31, 1970 in Bradenton, Florida to Mark and Elaine Creasser.
Matt moved to Charlotte with his family in 1991, and shortly thereafter started the family business, Tile Collection, with his mother Elaine. Matt served as the President of Tile Collection, and with the help of family and lifelong friends, grew the business to be one of the most successful tile and stone companies in the city.
Matt led a full and rich life during his time here on Earth. He was an adventurer by nature and loved spending time in oceans, lakes and mountains, either on a board, bike or behind the wheel of a boat. Matt made friends wherever life took him and they meant the world to him. His daughter, Kylie, was his greatest gift and he loved her more than anything else on this planet.
He is preceded in death by his father Mark Creasser and cousins Chelsea Miller, Roxanne Draper Long and Tommy Cassel.
Matt is survived by his daughter Kylie and her mother Crystal; stepson Josh Little; mother Elaine (fiancé, Bryan Jorett) ; sister Jennie (Zack) Bridges, niece Juliette Bridges, uncle Glen Miller, aunt Rita Cassel, cousins Jesse Miller, Chasidy Long, Chris Cassel and Dale Cassel.
A service to honor the life of Matt will be held at Good Shepherd Church, 13110 Moss Road, Charlotte, NC 28273, on Wednesday July 12th at 2pm. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Charlotte Rescue Mission in his honor.

I have such great memories of Matt. I treasure the photos he sent me on May 23rd, 2023, from his trip to St John's and Virgin Gorda. I still have them. He looked so happy. RIP my friend. My love to all his family and friends.

I'm truly heart broken with this news. He was a great man easy to talk to you. He'll be missed greatly. I worked in the showroom for a couple of years, which I thoroughly enjoyed. Matt is one of a kind he opened his house too many of our functions. I'm just really shocked at the news. It's so very sad gone too soon. Rest in peace Matt.

I would always say "welcome to tile collection" when he would walk into the showroom. And joked about making a tshirt out of all of his estimate photos where you can see him reflected in the mirror. He would call me kiddo and I would always tell him "I´m not a kid". This years potlucks and gatherings won´t be the same without you, bossman.
