I was thinking about Norm and did a search and was saddened to see that he had passed.
Norm was working at UNCC while I was a student and later I worked with him in Matthews. He was incredibly smart and very quick witted. He had the true computer scientist's attention to detail. I always found him to have a wry sense of humor.
I will always remember him with fondness.
